A little bit about our history.
What started as a hobby back in 2010 became our passion and we started selling more pieces than we could make so we made it into our business. We still use old school methods to build our furniture and we dedicate our time to each piece individually which means that each piece is given our complete undivided attention from design to completion.
Sustainability
We only use sustainable sources for our materials with reclaimed wood being our preference so that we don’t add to more trees being cut down than necessary. We give old wood a new lease of life by stripping back most of the age on the outside but leaving just enough to preserve some character of the wood. Once this is treated and finished the wood will last for years to come.
Our Materials.
We use only high quality finishing products, whether that be wax, oils, stains etc, so we can give the best possible outcome and the best chance of longevity of life for our furniture. Each piece we make is to the customer specifications and the finish they require so its a truly one off piece to match your taste and existing décor bringing old to match new.
No Mass Production.
Because our pieces are built by hand we don’t work from plans or designs meaning that each piece we make is a one off piece and will never be completely the same as another piece.
With our Up-cycled Furniture we put our own stamp on each piece we do and no two pieces are the same. These pieces are one off which means when they’re gone, they’re gone. Often we can take requests for the piece you see on here and we can source something very similar but it’s unlikely that we can source the exact same piece of furniture. Again with these pieces, we do each one individually and never do the same design twice, meaning that each piece you buy is a one off and there isn’t another one out there.
